Space Weapon Visual Effects

The Weapon Visual Effects Retrofit Kit changes how your ship’s weapon looks and sounds when it fires. Its combat stats stay the same.

Using the kit

  1. Land and unload the weapon from your ship into your main inventory. Keep the kit there too.
  2. Right-click the kit and choose Use Retrofit Kit, then select your weapon.
  3. Choose an effect and confirm to apply it. Each application uses one kit. Reinstall the weapon when you’re done.

Restore Original returns the weapon to its original effect. There isn’t a separate video chapter for that option, since the original depends on the weapon.
