Death Watch Bunker: Access, Loot, and Crafting

Make an Advanced Rebreather your first priority. Without it equipped, the mine’s poison damage over time can kill you. If the crafter dies while making a jetpack or Mandalorian armor, the hard-earned materials already deposited are wasted.
Making an Advanced Rebreather
Required skill: Artisan Engineering II to enhance the filter. The dispenser and final workbench step have no profession requirement. A Master Artisan already has the needed skill.
| Part | Where to get it |
|---|---|
| 1 Mandalorian Rebreather | Random bunker enemy or loot-box drop. This is the base wearable, before upgrading. |
| 1 Alum Gel Packet | Random bunker enemy or loot-box drop. Different from the Alum Mineral used for the jetpack. |
| 1 Filter | Use the Filter Dispenser in the technician’s room inside the bunker. The Rebreather Workbench is beside it. |
- Get a filter from the dispenser.
- Enhance it. With the gel packet in your inventory and Artisan Engineering II trained, use the filter’s radial menu. This consumes the filter and gel and gives you an Enhanced Filter.
- Use the Rebreather Workbench. Keep the Mandalorian Rebreather and Enhanced Filter in your inventory. The workbench consumes the Enhanced Filter and upgrades the wearable to Advanced Rebreather.
- Equip it in your eyes slot before entering the mines. Carrying it in a bag does not protect you. Keep its Advanced Rebreather name: the mine protection check uses that name.
Finding your way: Use the copyable palace and bunker entrance waypoints. The dispenser, workbench, Foreman, and crafting droids are indoors on different levels; their room coordinates are not usable as ordinary planetary waypoints. Look for the named NPCs and stations once inside.
Loot and crafting rewards
| Goal | What you need / where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Mandalorian armor | Craft and convert appropriate bounty hunter armor using bunker materials and workshops. Boba does not hand out a complete set. |
| Jetpack deed | Craft using a jetpack base, stabilizer, ducted fan, fuel injector tank, fuel dispersion unit, and other required materials. |
| DE-10 pistol | The schematic and pistol barrel appear in bunker loot tables. |
| Other loot | Executioner’s Hack schematic, Mandalorian wine schematic, Mandalorian rebreather, artwork, binary liquid, protective liquid coating, and alum materials. |
Getting access
Get access from Boba Fett in Jabba’s palace, in the audience-area cell shared with Bib Fortuna and G-5PO. Normal access to this room requires finishing Barada’s stage. Boba’s conversation sets a separate Bunker access flag; completing every Jabba mission is not the check, and Boba does not require Rebel or Imperial membership.

This is a group combat dungeon with keys, door progression, a mine, workshops, and side quests. Bring the appropriate crafting specialists as well as fighters.
Crafting a jetpack
Bring a Master Artisan and a Master Droid Engineer. The Artisan assembles the jetpack; the Droid Engineer opens the workshop. One character can have both professions. Bring friends to handle the fighting while the crafter works.
Parts checklist: one of each
| Part | Where to get it |
|---|---|
| Jetpack Base | Random drop from roaming Black Sun assassins, guards, henchmen, and thugs on Endor, Dathomir, and Yavin 4. These are the outdoor Black Sun spawns, not the bunker’s similarly named guards. |
| Jetpack Stabilizer | Death Watch Overlords inside the bunker, including the mine Overlord and Drartih Oure. |
| Ducted Fan | Bunker loot boxes. |
| Fuel Injector Tank | Bunker loot boxes. |
| Fuel Dispersion Unit | Bunker loot boxes. |
| Alum Mineral | Complete the Mining Foreman’s quest chain below. This is a quest item, not an ordinary harvested resource or an Alum Gel Packet. |
Also bring for workshop access: the Master Droid Engineer needs an Alum Mineral and a bounty hunter helmet or either bounty hunter bracer in their inventory. These are door checks, not extra jetpack ingredients. The same mineral can be handed to the Artisan after entry. Loot-box parts and the base are random drops, so collect the full set before starting assembly.
Getting the Alum Mineral
- Equip an Advanced Rebreather before entering the mines. Follow the guide at the top to make one.
- Talk to the Mining Foreman. Accept the job to find Haldo, the crazed miner. Get medicine from the Medical Droid, find Haldo in the mines, and give him the medicine to receive the drill battery.
- Return to the Foreman, then visit the Workshop Droid. Have the battery cleaned and bring it back to the Foreman.
- Accept the pump job. Use the four valves in the pump room upstairs until all four indicators are green. The valves affect one another. Return to the Foreman for your Alum Mineral.
Assembling the jetpack
- Gather everyone before opening the Droid Engineer workshop. The Master Droid Engineer uses its door terminal with the access items above. Workshop access lasts five minutes.
- Find the Jetpack Crafting Droid inside. The Master Artisan puts all six ingredients into this droid from their inventory. Use the same character for every ingredient; deposited parts are consumed.
- Defend the crafter and follow the terminal prompts. Adding the last part spawns attackers and starts crafting. Use the nearby jetpack crafting terminal and confirm Continue within 30 seconds. After the 10-second processing step, confirm Finish within the next 30 seconds.
- Collect the deed. After another 10 seconds, the Jetpack Deed is placed in the crafter’s inventory. Use the deed to create your jetpack.
Have the group handle the attackers so the Artisan can stay on the terminal. Missing a timed prompt or dying during assembly can cost the materials.
Crafting Mandalorian armor
Each piece is made by converting the matching bounty hunter armor piece in a bunker workshop. Collect the materials first, then bring the right Master crafter and friends to protect them.
Materials for each piece
| Material | Where to get it |
|---|---|
| 1 matching bounty hunter armor piece | Random drops from outdoor Black Sun assassins, guards, henchmen, and thugs on Endor, Dathomir, and Yavin 4. Match the slot exactly, including left versus right biceps and bracers. |
| 1 Binary Liquid | Random drop from Death Watch Bloodguards, Ghosts, and Wraiths inside the bunker. |
| 1 Protective Liquid Coating | Random drop from the same bunker Bloodguards, Ghosts, and Wraiths. |
| 1 Alum Mineral | The Mining Foreman’s quest reward. Follow Getting the Alum Mineral. This is not an Alum Gel Packet. |
For the full 10-piece set: all 10 matching bounty hunter pieces, 10 Binary Liquids, 10 Protective Liquid Coatings, and 10 Alum Minerals. Every piece is a separate conversion, and all four ingredients are consumed.
Who crafts which pieces?
| Required profession / workshop | Mandalorian pieces |
|---|---|
| Master Armorsmith | Chest plate, boots, left bicep, right bicep. |
| Master Droid Engineer | Helmet, left bracer, right bracer. |
| Master Tailor | Leggings, gloves, belt. |
Making each piece
- Equip your Advanced Rebreather and gather the group. Put all four ingredients in the crafter’s inventory before opening the workshop.
- Open the matching workshop. Its door checks the Master profession, a compatible bounty hunter armor piece, and an Alum Mineral. Those same items are then used in the recipe; no extra door materials are needed. Workshop access lasts five minutes.
- Load the workshop’s crafting droid. The qualified crafter deposits the armor piece, Binary Liquid, Protective Liquid Coating, and Alum Mineral. Use the same character for all four. Deposited ingredients are consumed, so be ready before starting.
- Protect the crafter and work the terminal. The last ingredient starts crafting and spawns attackers. Confirm Continue at the nearby crafting terminal within 30 seconds. After 10 seconds of processing, confirm Finish within the next 30 seconds.
- Receive the armor. After another 10 seconds, the finished piece appears in the crafter’s inventory and the crafter is moved out of the room. Repeat with a fresh set of materials for each remaining piece.
Keep the crafter alive and focused on the prompts. Death or a missed crafting deadline wastes the deposited materials. The finished piece receives randomly selected armor colors.
